Patricia McIntosh is a licensed eligible clinician, holding a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Biology from Allegheny College. Patricia has experience providing therapeutic services and crisis intervention to children, adults, and families in a variety of settings. In her previous work, she provided individual and group counseling to address varying mental health diagnoses, behavioral health concerns, trauma, and addiction. Patricia is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and is working towards national certification. She practices with various theoretical approaches, behavioral neuroscience perspectives, and real life experience. Under a client-centered approach, Patricia utilizes different modalities in treatment including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions to treat the whole person and ensure that what is done in therapy is personalized, collaborative, and unique to the client.
